Some trends were never meant to stay. The Pet Rock, flip phones, AIM away messages, and everything being bedazzled all saw their moments of glory fade quickly. However, according to Top 6 Short-Term Rental Trends and Predictions for 2025 from Beyond Pricing, some STR trends are here to stay.
The leaders of new travel—Millennials and Gen Z travelers—prioritize authenticity and trust, for example. The survey indicates that nearly 90% would lose confidence in accommodations if listings are misrepresented, and over two-thirds would share such experiences on social media.
